The 2022 Worldwide Photo Walk is being conducted by the Rockhampton Photography Club. The walk leader is Rex Boggs, who is the President of the Rockhampton Photography Club.
We will meet at 10 am on Saturday 13 August at PnE Art and Bespoke Framing, 120 East St, Rockhampton. Prior to the walk, you may wish to have a coffee and/or breakfast at The Coffee Society or the Giddy Goat, which are nearby. You will be given a Treasure Hunt list of subjects, to find and photograph along the way. You will also be given a map showing where we will be walking around the CBD. We will finish the walk at the Rockhampton Museum of Art about 11.30 am. If you wish to have a coffee and/or lunch afterwards, there is the Hummingbird Cafe at the RMOA and plenty of other coffee shops nearby.
Members of the public that participate in the Walk are encouraged to enter a few photos into the 2022 Photo Walk Competition, with the winning photographer being offered free membership in the Rockhampton Photo Club until the end of 2023. Details about how to enter the competition will be given to you on the day.
You can take your photos with a proper camera or with your phone camera. We are looking forward to meeting you on the day!
