To make things easy for you and to help you grow your walk, we have put this Leader’s Kit together for you. This kit is designed to help you get the word out about you and your walk. Please take a minute to look over these materials and familiarize yourself with some opportunities we believe will make your walk a fun and exciting one.
Press Release
The press release is for you to send to your local newspaper and any local event blogs. This will give them plenty of information about the Worldwide Photo Walk and your walk specifically. At the bottom is an area where you can edit and add your local walk information. You can send this to the Community Desk and the Events Desk at your regional newspapers and radio stations.
Social Posts
The social posts are ideas for you to follow. The content and dates are suggestions you can easily follow. Please make sure to use the hashtag #WWPW2023 You can add your contact info but please direct your followers to https://worldwidephotowalk.com/locations so they can get properly registered.
Blog Posts and Banner
As a leader, we have created a special banner for you to use on your blog that signifies you as an official walk leader. Feel free to display this on your blog, Facebook, Pinterest, etc. Please link back to the main registration site https://worldwidephotowalk.com/locations. This way walkers will get the location, the time, and all the contest rules and be “official”! Walkers that are already signed up are getting follow up emails and instructions like these on how to spread the word.
