About This Walk
Welcome to the Foshan City Worldwide Photowalk!
My name is Murray, I’m originally from the UK but have been living in Foshan for ten years. This photowalk route is a special one to me – it is the area where I lived when I first arrived in China, and I have spent many days wondering these streets over the years. Our walk will start at Pujun Bei Lu Metro station, heading up to LiaoYuan Lu, and exploring Foshan’s old city centre. We will pass through one of the most characterful areas of Foshan city, taking in authentic scenes of Cantonese life, traditional streets and typical architecture, and even Foshan’s oldest Catholic church.
Photographers of all skill levels and all cameras are welcome. The walk will start at 13:30 with a flexible end time, although we aim to stay until at least the beginning of the evening to catch the beautiful light that begins after 16:00.
