About This Walk
THIS WALK IS THROUGH THE DOÑA ANA PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB.
The one-mile radius of the Las Cruces NM Downtown + Historic Districts Photo Walk, which enables a 2-mile, 2-hour walk, encompasses a wide variety of photographic subjects. Downtown offers an opportunity to capture people, dogs, and all manner of goods at the Saturday Farmers & Craft Market. Plus, Main Street and its surroundings are fronted by museums, retailers, and restaurants. Heading east to walk the historic Alameda District, you’ll find Queen Anne to Pueblo Revival homes, as well as the Las Cruces Railroad Museum. Heading west, you can reach the outer fringes of the Mesquite Historic District, which features tumble-down, humble, and artful Adobe homes and a few corner mom-and-pops. Nooks and crannies abound throughout the radius. You may find something no one has ever photographed before!
