Photo Walk Description

Come out and join fellow photographers and photography enthusiasts for our second year walking and photographing in York, PA!

The route for this year’s photo walk in downtown York is just under one mile, walking past York landmarks such as the Central Market, the Strand Capital Performing Arts Center, the former York Railroad Depot, and ending up at Sovereign Stadium, home of the York Revolution baseball team. For the final hour of the walk, members will be attending the very first “Plaza Palooza”, held at the Brooks Robinson Plaza at Sovereign Stadium. The theme of this first Plaza Palooza is Breast Cancer Awareness, and the event will include interactive activities, games, crafts, music, and more. While the York photo walk is free, there is a $4 admission for those wishing to attend Plaza Palooza.

We will also be having a “Photography Scavenger Hunt” during our walk, where members will be asked to locate and photograph different items!

We will be meeting at 10am on Sunday, October 2nd, on the corner of Philadelphia and Beaver streets, right next to the White Rose Bar.

See ya Sunday!

I just joined this walk. As it is only a week away, can I please get the meeting location?

For the six of us who made it to the walk today it was great! Thankfully we dodged the rain and we had a good couple hours of walking downtown York.
