Hello All! We plan on meeting in the library parking lot at 8:15. (You will need quarters for parking if you can not find a location on the street.) We will walk toward Union Train Station and Washington Square. From there we will move down Shrewsbury Street to the park area. We’ll then take a right to explore the warehouses along the back roads of the Shrewsbury Area. Basicly we will be doing a big loop back to the Parkway Diner for breakfast, (aprox 10:45-11AM) then a trek back to the cars in the lot at the library. Hopefully photographing all along the way.
The group leader, Donna Dufault, will lead the days intrepid photographers along the proposed trail. Donna has lead two other Kelby Walks, and numerous other Photo walks (or Click and Shoots) Donna and her husband Scott run the Worcester Photo Meetup group and the Worcester Photography Center. http://photo.meetup.com/22/ We hope you’ll check out the group and join in the fun!
Please bring water, sun block, and wear comfy clothing and shoes. This is a lot of walking! Please be prepared! I also like to suggest that since we are walking along the streets you have a photo partner that can watch your back while you are photographing. We will be obeying all laws and street signage! So please pay attention and watch your step…
One final note- please sign up for this walk using your real name. It’s been hard picking and contacting winners in the past since I did not know who you were… so please help me out here!!
