Photo Walk Description
Our Photowalk will take place at the Wilmington Riverfront area. We will meet in the parking lot in front of Joe’s Crab Shack. The walk will start at 9:15 AM but please try to arrive by 9:00 AM to prepare yourself and your gear. Once all the preliminaries are out of the way, we can venture out for the actual photo walk. At 11:30 AM the walkers can meet at the Riverside Market on Orange Street where you can purchase lunch from one of the several vendors there. Seating is located in the upstairs dining area.
There are ample photo opportunities at the Wilmington Riverfront including Wilmington’s former shipbuilding efforts, the Tubman-Garrett Riverfront Park, the Russell Peterson Wildlife Refuge, the Public Docks, the Wilmington Amtrak Station, Frawley Stadium, and plenty of interesting architecture all along the route.
Greetings – I’ve set up a Flickr Group for all Photowalkers to share their images. This isn’t for the official prize entries but will be nice to see what each walkers vision was while at the Waterfront.

Hi I hope its ok to bring my son , Wife out of town he does love photography and will be using my canon 40d He is 9 yrs old and I am starting him young,. maybe the next Ansel Adams…

Anyone else not seeing the upload box? Last year I didn’t have this problem but this year I don’t see a way to upload.
It is there if you are not logged in, just above the map. Once you log in it disappears. I’ll shoot off an email to figure out what’s going on
Thanks, it seems others are having the same problem on the official flickr group others have discussed it. No one has a solution yet.
