Photo Walk Description
Hi Walkers! My name is Pam Powell, I am a portrait photographer here in Parker County, and I have my BFA in art-photography. I have lead the Downtown Weatherford walk for two years now, and I am excited to have some cooler weather this year! We’ll meet in front of the Weatherford Downtown Cafe, in the South West corner of the square. We’ll spend our time walking the historic streets of downtown Weatherford. There are lots of neat shops and windows to photograph, and lots of interesting textures as well. I haven’t had anyone do model portraits, but you are certainly welcome to! If you are in around town before Sunday October 2, stop by the Chamber of Commerce for a map and a historic walking tour. The walking tour will take you all around Weatherford, not just on the square, so you can continue your walk if you’d like. Hope to see you there! Looking forward to meeting with you.

Glad to see someone has finally scheduled a Sunday walk. I will have to do a Sunday walk this year. I live in Dallas but might leave early for your walk. Is the Downtown Cafe not open on Sundays? If you have enough walkers they might open for you and your group if that is the case. Are there any other options? Thanks,

The cafe looks to be open 8am – 2pm on Sundays. Like you I’m in Dallas but this walk is tempting for being on Sunday and somewhere I’ve not been previously.

Ok, Martyn, another Dallas shooter! I get up that early to go to work, why not do the same to shoot some images? If I leave at 6 I can easily get there by the start time. I’m signing up, see you there.

I’m looking forward to the walk. I did Georgetown last year and it was hot but fun. I’m driving from Euless which is only 58 minutes according to Google. It will be good to see the Dallas shooters. Thanks for the Sunday walk. Don
