Photo Walk Description

WELCOME:
The photowalk is open to everyone! As long as you have a camera, you are welcome to join!

REGISTER:
Be sure to register if you want to join in. (Click on the green “Join this Walk” button above the map) We’re limited to 50 participants!

MEET TIME:
We will meet 15 minutes before the start time. So let’s meet at the parking lot at 3:45pm.

LOCATION:
Starting from the Steamworks parking lot, the walk will head into Gastown along Water St. then continue on to Alexander St when it ends. Along the way, we will hit up the alleys as there are lots of interesting spots. We’ll swing down to Cordova St. then head back towards where we started. Along the way, there is the very cool Woodwards building, so be sure to go inside too. I’ve mapped out the exact route, but feel free to deviate from it. As long as we meet back up at Waves at 6pm.

AFTER THE WALK:
We will meet at Waves Coffee where we can have drinks and snacks there. If we fill up the place up, there is a Blenz right across the street too. We will be sharing our images we’ve captured during this time.

RAIN DATE:
If it’s raining ALOT on the day of our Photo Walk our alternate date is Saturday, October 8 from 4PM to 6pm. (It would’ve been Sunday, but it’s Thanksgiving).

MISC:
If you can’t attend the walk, please be sure to remove yourself from the walk in case someone is waiting on standby.

    Hey everybody!

    The weather is looking fine for this Sunday, so the photo walk is 100% happening. You might want to pack an umbrella if we get a light sprinkle.

    Remember to have your batteries charged and bring enough memory cards. Stay safe and be aware of the traffic around you. We don’t want anyone to get hurt. Keep an eye out for everyone during the walk as well.

    START:
    3:45pm – We are meeting at the parking lot of Steamworks Brewing Company in Gastown. The exact address is:

    375 Water Street
    Vancouver, BC V6B 1B8

    We will do a big group photo of everybody before we set out!

    END:
    6:00pm – After the photo walk, we are meeting at the Waves Coffee on the corner of Richards St. and W. Hastings St. The exact address is:

    492 W Hastings St
    Vancouver, BC V6B

    Hi Derek,

    Well, i initially signed up for the Westminster PW but I asked to be deleted from the list before I signed up for our PW. I don’t have an idea now which password i used for registering. Anyway, Is there any other way I can submit the image?

    Though I find my name in your list, I don’t remember receiving any (email) confirmation from the organizers.

    No worries. I enjoyed the PW. :)
