Where We Will Meet

Toronto Sculpture Garden

Where The Walk Will End

Cest What pub at Front & Jarvis

About This Walk

Our walk will take us through Toronto’s Inner City on a Thanksgiving Sat morning. It’s an area full of colourful characters and contrasting backdrops, from high end fashionable designer stores to graffiti’d underpasses; expensive condo buildings to homeless shelters.

Meet in Toronto Sculpture Garden at 9am for a 9:15 am departure. It’s right alongside the North section of St Lawrence Market. (The best time for photos of the market are super early, from 5am on, so arrive early to wander around on your own**).

Walk will end at C’est What on Front St for lunch.

** If it rains (!!?) we’ll stay inside the market and surrounding buildings. It’s one of the oldest parts of the city so there’s plenty to see!

This will be my third year leading a KelbyOne walk and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone in October!

(Please note this event is not suitable for small kids.)

Hey everyone!
Thanks for coming out this year on the walk and congrats to everyone who submitted an entry for the walk. It was a tough call but I just picked one photo as the winner. No idea who won! Check your emails though 🙂

Hi all
Thanks for coming out, hope you all had a great morning of shooting! I’ll post the group photo whenever I find out where it goes!

UPDATE:Photowalk tomorrow (Sat)October 6th, 2017

Just a reminder tomorrow (Sat) am is our worldwide photo walk! We are meeting in the Sculpture Gardens just off King St E at 9am, where we’re gonna stop briefly for a group photo. At 9:15 am we’ll begin our meander along Front St towards St Lawrence Market so if you are late, no worries just run and catch up.
The weather forecast looks good, warm and about 20C. Remember extra batteries!
Also, if you are not coming please try to get your name off the list. The walk is almost full, with 46 people signed up, but I’m guessing many won’t make it – so please let me know so we are not waiting 🙂
See you all in the am

UPDATE! Oct 7 World wide photo walkSeptember 21st, 2017

A shout out hello to anyone coming from Toronto Camera Club – I’m a new member + looking forward to the workshops + events this year =>

Also a special welcome to Paul Henman + anyone from his group Toronto Photo Walks! Paul has been a huge supporter of KelbyOne for many years + his group have photowalks around the city every other weekend =>

  • Evelyn Young Hi Caroline. I just signed up for your walk in Toronto. My friend Kathy and I will be coming to Toronto to stay with family that weekend and are looking forward to doing the walk with you. We have participated in Scott's walk in Montreal for about 6 years now and decided to do one in another city. See you then. Evelyn Young
