Photo Walk Description

The starting location for this walk has now been selected. We will meet at the fountain in downtown Stoney Creek at 9:30 AM. This location allows us a great location to get a group shoot before starting out. The fountain is located at King Street East and Jones Road. A picture of the fountain has been added to the Flickr site, World Wide Photowalk 2011 – Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
The ending location for this walk will fit nicely for us Canadians. We will meet up after the walk at Tim Hortons at 8 King Street East in downtown Stoney Creek. This location is roomy and our parking area is directly behind this location. This will give all of us a chance to gather and chat for a short while at the end to compare notes. Also the pricing is reasonable as you can just grab a quick drink or have yourself some lunch. This of course is at your own expense.
I checked out this location and there is a large public parking area with NO meters, so the parking is free, directly behind the Tim Hortons and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 62 on King Street East in downtown Stoney Creek. This location will provide easy and central access for all of the locations involved with the walk. The starting point is just 2 blocks to the east and ending point is just steps away.
Thanks, David King, Walk Leader

Will we have to register for the walk?

    • David King says:

Lyn, everyone who is planning to attend this walk needs to sign up for this walk. To keep the group manageable there is a limit of 50 walkers per group.
      Thanks
