Photo Walk Description

Greetings everyone! We will be meeting at Photosource at 3pm for a brief for a (free!) 1-hour Photography Refresher course! Then we will drive over to 5171 Flintridge Dr. and meet at the George Mitchell Preserve trail head. We’ll meet by 4:30pm and begin our walk along the two miles of nature trails. Location to meet afterwards TBD. We’ll see you out there, thanks!

I’ve never done a photo walk before. It sounds like fun!

We’ll be meeting at Rico’s in the Indian Springs village after walking, about 6:45pm or so. If Mexican food isn’t to your fancy there are plenty of choices including Chinese, Subway and Italian.

    Looking forward to meeting everyone!!

Todd, thanks so much for the photo walk, I never knew the Woodlands Trail existed. I also want to thank you again for visiting my photo display at the library. I have never had anything on display ever (other than a science project in grade school and junior high school). I consider the gallery at The Antique Gallery not the same as the gallery at the library.

Just as you said at the pre-walk meeting, “…you take particular notice and have a sense of pride, if someone takes one step closer for a better view of your work.”

The Antique Gallery is not a good venue to show off my artwork. It is really good for antiques and antique furniture and nostalgic stuff. I have watched a large percentage of people just walk on by with just the slightest glance, if that, to see in the showcase.

The library, on the other hand, garnered so many lookers that I was truly amazed!!!

A very, very SPECIAL THANKS TO ALL AT PHOTOSOURCE who have made this showing possible. There is no way I could have done it without ya’ll. In fact there wouldn’t be a showing at the library or Antique Gallery because the idea would never have been born without PhotoSource.

    Yay to PhotoSource.

    Todd,
Is there a way I can get a copy of the photo of you in front of my library gallery?

Thanks again for everything; I am planning to take additional photo classes as soon as I can clear some space on my calendar.

    Best wishes,

    Art Rothenberg

Hi Todd, This looks like it was fun. I had surgery last month so couldn’t consider it, but appreciated the email. I like following what you are doing through the critical eye facebook page. All the Best, Jayne
