Photo Walk Description

Hi everyone! I plan to catch the centennial trail through Riverfront Park past the big red wagon and the carousel, across the falls on the foot bridges. Then we will head back across half the river by the Expo pavilion and the clock tower, and back through the park behind the convention center. That puts us pretty much back where we started, so once I get a restaurant figured out (open to suggestions) I will post it here and we can meet and show off all our cool photos!

  • Map of the walk!

I wanted to give everyone a visual of where we will be walking ( I am a visual person…) so here it is!

  • After the walk meet up will be at Azteca Mexican Restaurant at 245 W Spokane Falls blvd

Azteca is a block and a half from our start/finish point, so no need to re-park, but if you need to pick up or drop items at your car, we will be right there.

Also: Parking in the big Diamond Parking lot is $5 for up to 4 hours that must be prepaid; they have kiosks that will take credit/debit cards and cash. Meters run in Downtown Spokane on Saturdays now, please keep that in mind!

Our route is about 1.5 miles and it is a loop. I walked the route today, and there are TONS of potential great shots! Architecture (bridges and buildings, the river and falls, the carousel; I could go on and on! I was walking at a casual pace and it took me 40 minutes, so 2 hours while taking photos should be about right.

    Thanks,
    Paul
