Photo Walk Description
We will begin at the “Surrender” statue at Bayfront and walk along the water’s edge to Marina Jack. From there we will go up Main Street where there are lots of sidewalk restaurants and great shots for architectural shoots. We will go as far as Pineapple, loop down McAnish to S. Palm and back down Main back to the Bayfront. We will spend the second half of the walk in and around the Bayfront and Island Park. Lots of great waterfront, boats, birds, etc to shoot – even an eclectic mix of people. We will finish at a nearby restaurant (to be decided) for a relaxing lunch and cameraderie.
Is there a charge for attending this event?
no charge just bring your camera and enjoy. When we finish & go for lunch,
your lunch will be your only expense.

It was impossible for me to sign up. I tried 7 times! Gave up.

I tried to get set up as a walk leader.

I too had lots of problems trying to register. It kept telling me my username already existed. As if! I am Amanda, as Afufefa and I will be there. Thank you.
This is exciting! I’ve never been apart of a photowalk! I can’t wait to meet some other photographers.

I’m just getting off work (oof!) but will try to be there tomorrow – not officially registering so that just in case I oversleep, I’m not taking up a slot someone else might like to use
WALKERS: You should be able to see a link near the top of the page telling you to log in to submit your ONE picture for the contest. In addition you can post up to 5 (it says per day??) to the world wide FLICKR page http://www.flickr.com/groups/wwpw4 For just our Sarasota walk, you can go to http://www.flickr.com/groups/1737840@N25/ and post as many as you want to share with our walk group
As of this morning, the website link to upload your entry SEEMS to be working.
