Photo Walk Description
Hi folks,
I am Ali, and will be leading the photo walk around and on the Golden Gate Bridge. I am interested in landscape and architectural photography. I use HDR technique to capture the dramatic high dynamic range of light during sunset and sunrise. You can visit my gallery at www.artofhdr.com/.
In this photo walk, we will meet at Fort Point at 4 pm. I will start the session with some tips about shooting architectural photography (in this case mainly Golden Gate Bridge during sunset). We will do our first shots around the Fort, where we meet. Then we will take the Fort Point Trail up to Golden Gate Bridge (about 15-20 min walk) and walk over it towards the North for another 20 min. This photo walk will be about shooting landmarks with a unique and powerful perspective. There will be a lot of general photography tips as well. So you can even join the walk with your point-and-shoot camera or with the iPhone 
.
What to bring:
You can come with any camera that you have. If you want to learn more about HDR photography, in addition to your camera, you can bring:
A tripod (hand-hold HDR is possible but not preferred) and a cable release. Also consider to have extra battery, memory card, sun cream, water and comfortable shoes for a short hike. We will also do some portrait shots of each other (I know, as photographer, we do not get our photos taken much, this could be a good opportunity to have some of our own nice photos )….
After the photo walk event, we will go to dinner to socialize and exchange more information about art and photography
