Photo Walk Description
We’ll walk down the K Street Mall area – a mix of old and new, grit and glimmer. From K Street we’ll wander a few downtown alleys making a stop in front of the Capitol, through the park and back to K Street. Interesting spots along our path include public art, restaurants, The Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, and The Crest Theatre.
Who am I?
I run the website www.CaptureYour365.com, a spot for inspiration and ideas for people taking a photo a day. I’ve taught 100′s of people online and in person how to use their cameras to capture their everyday lives. I’ve led many photo walks through the downtown and midtown areas and look forward to sharing my favorite spots with you!
There are several parking garages located near K Street.

Celeste, that is the limit the organizers provide. Any more than 50 gets a bit cumbersome to maneuver through town! There are two spots that just opened up.

Q. How do I submit my best photo to the contest?
A. First, log in at WorldwidePhotoWalk.com, then go to your walk page. There you’ll see instructions in a big yellow box on how to submit your single best image from your walk to the contest. You will have until October 10 at 12:00 noon EDT to upload your best image to the contest.
Q. What size/dimensions/resolution should my photo be?
A. The maximum file size for images is 1MB. We suggest it to be 1000px on the longest side at 72dpi.
