Photo Walk Description

Hello, I’m Chris Bergstrom and would like to invite you to this year’s Annual Photo Walk! I chose historic Roebling, New Jersey as the photo walk site and it is going to be a lot of fun! We had a blast last year, but the location wasn’t the safest place to be wandering about with camera equipment, so this year I’ve chosen a very safe and beautiful location for out photo walk. I hope to see you there!

  1. Several people have signed up for this photo walk and it is still on! I look forward to seeing you there!

  2. Please read below for submitting your photos.

  3. Ed Cook says:

Thanks for setting things up I had a great time. Two questions…

Are you sure the deadline for us to submit is the 10th. The main site says the 7 and that you have to have selected by the 10th.

Also, does submitting them to the flickr location also get us into the overall competition?

  4. Thanks for the walk Chris. I lived up near Hightstown/Cranbury for over 20 years now – ever since I moved here from Germany, and never knew about Roebling. Looking forward to next year! Roebling reminded me of my hometown, which was once a thriving city before the reunification. Now our CHina production moved elsewhere, and population is on the decline in my hometown.

  5. Rich Yasick says:

Thanks for organizing the walk Chris. It was a first one for me. Enjoyed it a lot and learned a few things about Roebling to boot. Looking forward to next years walk.

  6. According to the website, you are supposed to be able to upload your photos here for the contest. Please try that as well. As the leader, I can’t see anywhere to upload anything, so I hope you can. Some people have already figured it out as well. Thanks again everyone for attending!

  7. Robert Zurfluh says:

    Chris,

there is a link on this site, just above the map (above) to upload one of your photos.

  8. Hello

Thanks for participating in the Fourth Annual Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo
Walk! We hope you had a great time, took some amazing photos, and made lots
    of new friends.

Now that the event has taken place, photo walkers may begin uploading their
photos as of October 3 at 9:00am EDT. To do so, walkers will simply log in
at WorldwidePhotoWalk.com, go to their walk page, and follow the
instructions listed there to submit their single best image from the walk to
the contest. Walkers will have until October 7 at 12:00 noon EDT to upload
their best image to the contest.

After image submissions have closed, Photo Walk Leaders will then have until
October 10 at 12:00 noon EDT to select a winning image from their Photo
    Walk.

The Worldwide Photo Walk Flickr Group is also available for people who would
like to share more than one image from the event. It’s just for fun, so we
encourage people to share their images there, but all images being submitted
to the contest will be uploaded on the Worldwide Photo Walk site.

    Thanks

    Details:
    1. One image per walker per location
    2. 1000px on the long side @ 72 dpi
    3. Max file size is 1MB

  9. Joan L Farb says:

    Hi Chris
How long does it take to have a photo appear in the flickr group? I uploaded one from my account , but it hasn’t appeared yet with the Roebling group.

  10. It should be there now Joan!

  11. Rich Yasick says:

    Thanks! Wow, what a surprise!
