Welcome Photographers! Whether you are a professional photographer, or you just take pictures with your cellphone and tweet them, this is a great excuse to have some fun, take pics, maybe learn some photo tips, and make some friends! The event is free, easy, and fun.

The last two years, we have been lucky enough to share a great day and take great photos at North Carolina State Universities main campus, which houses the oldest buildings in the university. This year, we are even luckier because the photowalk takes place during the school year, meaning we can catch students during daily life and get photos that show a real sense of liveliness!

THE 2011 WALK
While the map shows we will be starting at D.H. Hill library and finishing a mere block away, it is because we will navigate our way past the Bell Tower, through the Court of Carolinas, the art dorms, the railroad, Pullen Park and through over to Central Campus and the famous Free Expression Tunnel, which is ALWAYS a photowalk favorite. Then we can meet at I Love New York Pizza on Hillsborough Street were we can eat great food, get to know each other a little more, and have a BLAST sharing the photos we captured during our morning!*

PARKING
By the way, parking can be a beast, so please give yourself adequate time, not only to meet us at 930am, but to find parking. MOST of campus will allow you to park for free on weekends, but towing and ticketing are fierce, so please make sure you check the signs of each lot indicating what days they require permits. Be sure of where you are parking, as WWPW and I cannot be held responsible for a poor parking choice on your behalf. Also, parallel parking on Hillsborough Street should be free as well on Sundays. Likewise, you can always parallel park on the streets off Hillsborough Street across from the campus. Again, please just make sure you are legally parking. Thank you!
