Quezon Memorial Circle… there are lots of photo opportunities there… lots of people…kids, the elderly… lots of stalls where they sell food too… They have lots of activities there even during Saturdays.

    Dear Photowalkers,

    I am so excited about our photowalk this Saturday, October 1, 2011, as I would be meeting fellow photographers, old and new faces alike, as we try to capture the essence of The Circle.

    Please be reminded of our meeting place and time: BACOLOD CHICKEN INASAL, near the East Avenue gate, at 6:00AM to 6:30AM for the Registration. This is also where we would be having brunch after our photowalk to share ideas and experiences. (You might be surprised upon arriving at Bacolod Chicken Inasal that it is closed. It opens at 7AM.)

    Things to bring:
    Extra T-shirt
    Towel
    Extra CF/memory cards
    Extra battery
    Raincoat (it pays to be prepared)
    Tripod (optional)
    And, of course, your camera

    See you and let’s have fun!

    Dear Photowalkers,

    With Sam and Gina this morning, we visited the Quezon Memorial Circle. The place is exciting. I am sure you will find the same. We went around 8:30AM; but, the light is already harsh. Thus, let’s meet at 6:30AM.

    This is the Game Plan:

    6:00AM to 6:30AM… REGISTRATION–Bacolod Chicken Inasal
    Restaurant is near the East Avenue gate. If you come early, there is plenty of parking (parking fee is PhP15.00). Here’s a photo of the area ==> link

    6:30AM…………. SHORT BRIEFING and GROUP PICTURE AT THE QUEZON MONUMENT

    10:30AM………… BACK TO BACOLOD CHICKEN INASAL for brunch (in your account). Here, we would share ideas/ experience as we expand our group of photographer friends.

    Hi Vicente, for walks that are already full but you have yourself waitlisted, in case any of those originally in the list decides to leave the walk, those in the waitlist would fill up the vacancy.

    It depends on the photo walk leader if he/she will accommodate those in the waitlist. The difference between those in the original list and those in the waitlist is that the waitlisted photowalkers won’t be able to submit their photo entry.

      Hi, Matthew! You’re welcome to join. But since the walk is already full (each photo walk has a maximum of 50 participants), you would be on the waitlisted.

      The difference between those registered and those on the waitlist, only those registered may submit their entry for the mini-photo competition.

      If that is OK with you, see you on October 1!
