Photo Walk Description

We will be starting out photographing on Macmillan Wharf, then walking east on Commercial st. looking for interesting photo ops. Depending on time and interest, we will walk along Commercial st, and back to Macmillan Wharf and photograph sunset. We will then go to the Lobster Pot for dinner and review our photos, for those who wish to join. Bring a tripod, comfortable shoes, water, etc. We will go over HDR, and I will have Lensbaby loaner lenses for those that want to try them out. Join us for a fun afternoon.
I have lived in Provincetown for about 30 years, and own the Lovinger Gallery, where I exhibit my photography of Cape Cod, as well as travel photographs from India and S.E. Asia. I also teach workshops as well as lead photo walks. www.lovingerimages.com

    Hi Jeff,

My name is Claudio Martins and I would like to join your photo walk, but I’m not able to because I already joined the photo walk in Monson, but this one will on Saturday and since yours is on Sunday I can be in yours too. Any chance you allow me to be in.

    Sincerely,

    Claudio

    Hi Jeff.

While I am not from Massachusetts, it is very likely that I will be in Provincetown on this day. I can let you know for sure closer to the date. Is it possible to hold a spot for me +1 for my partner?

    Thanks,
    Roberta

  3. Bill Richardson says:

    Jeff,
I have not been to Provincetown in a very long time, and have never done a photography there, and am looking forward to the photo walk. I checked out some of your work on the web site and it is simply gorgeous.
Lets hope for a fantastic golden hour on 10-2

Looking forward to meeting you and the other Photo walk participants

    Hi Jeff,
My husband and I vacation on the cape every fall – love the area and the photo ops. I am a fledgling, hobbyist, photographer and am really looking forward to this experience.

Looking forward to this photowalk, and visiting the Cape. I’ve lived here in MA for 6 years and have never been to Provincetown for more than just a quick drive through.

  6. Christy Stadelmaier says:

Hi Jeff – met you at Rock Harbor tonite – sorry about registering twice – the computer kept giving me error messages, so I had no idea that I had already registered. There is only one of me.

Thanks for sharing Provencetown with us. It left me with wanting to spend more time on Cape.

Look forward to seeing the images thru the eyes of the other walkers in the group.

  14. I’m glad we all had a good P’town walk, and the weather cooperated. Please remember to upload 1 photo to this website, in order to have a chance to win a Scott Kelby book. Upload here by noon Oct 7th, tomorrow. The flicker site is only for us all to share images.
