Photo Walk Description
Hello and welcome! I am a Montgomery photographer, am currently the president of the Capital City Camera Club, and have participated in two previous photo walks…. one in Montgomery and the other in Destin FL. Hoping to see some “old” photog friends and meet new ones at the walk. Our walk will cover the historic downtown Prattville area. Following the walk, we’ll meet in a local restaurant to share photos and food!
I’ve reserved a “private” area just for our group at Jim & Nicks BBQ in Prattville, 2250 Cobbs Ford Road, for us to all meet up after the walk (we should finish the walk around 6:30 pm), enjoy some food & refreshment, discuss the walk and share our photos. I’m looking forward to seeing you all there!

I’m so glad to report that we have 19 participants signed up and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at the walk tomorrow. Comfortable shoes are a must… and you might want to bring a light jacket since it will begin getting cooler about the time we begin. And don’t forget… we’ll all meet at Jim & Nick’s BBQ on Main Street after the walk for an opportunity to sit, socialize, and compare notes and photos. See you there!!
Q. How do I submit my best photo to the contest?
A. First, log in at WorldwidePhotoWalk.com, then go to your walk page. There you’ll see instructions in a big yellow box on how to submit your single best image from your walk to the contest. You will have until October 7 at 12:00 noon EDT to upload your best image to the contest.
