Photo Walk Description
I consider this area a small slice of heaven. Very peaceful, tranquil and lovely, lovely early morning light. A few local businesses, and mostly out of towners who maintain their boats here on the harbor boardwalk. Some locals walk themselves or with their dogs. I have been shooting for many years and in many different places and I consider this again to be a very special place in this area. Please be here by 6:00AM as I plan on starting the walk by 6:15. Mr Sun should make his glowing appearance at about 7:00 – 7:05. We will be wanting to capture some of the breaking light, rising light and also as the light starts to gently touch the ocean, boats and some of the many pelicans and sea gulls who live here. There are restrooms on the premises where we will be meeting. If you are sensitive to sun, please bring sunblock. Also it gets chilly early so you may want to dress in layers as once the sun comes up, temperature goes up also. Wear comfortable shoes, we will be walking for a mile or so. If you are planning to do long exposures, please bring a tripod and make sure you will be able to carry it with you as you walk. Please SET YOUR ALARMS…..Please RSVP to me as I will need to calculate how many guests will be at the restaurant afterwards. Most of all, please come and have a wonderful walk, enjoy the sunrise, meet fellow photographers and maybe make a few new friends! I look forward to meeting each and every one of you. Just noticed that on your Photo Walk page, your meeting time is posted as 6:00 PM. Shouldn’t this be 6:00 AM?
