My past few walks have taken us through the picturesque downtown market area of Ottawa, my plan, this time, is to start in an area I am very familiar with, lots of shops and an eclectic mix of locals.

We will meet at historic Hintonburg park and make our way down to the river via Bayview road, hoping to catch some sunset light over the water, we’ll then walk up Parkdale (noteably a fairly mundane thoroughfare) to the Royal Oak pub on Wellington West (Alpha Soul, it appears, is closed on Sundays).

Accessible by the #2 bus and the transit way, there will also be street parking available on Sunday & some spots behind the Hintonburg community centre (adjacent to the park). Hope to see you there!
