Photo Walk Description

Hi All, we will begin the walk at the Pak N Save carpark and make our way into Cornwall Park and around One Tree Hill. There’s plenty of photo ops in the park and spring lambs aplenty. Anyone game enough can make the trek up to the Cenotaph at the top of One Tree Hill, or we can simply meander through the grounds.

Afterwards I’ve arranged for Frolic Cafe to stay open for us or we can head to the pub in Royal Oak instead of people prefer.

    Morning fellow photogs, well e sky is overcast but not raining so let’s hopemit holds out for us. Just incase, better bring a raincoat and something to cover your camera with in a hurry if needed. A plastic shopping bag works well, or even a shower cap.

    We will meet in the Pak n Save carpark on Manukau Rd in the corner farthest away from the shops. I ll be there at about 1.30.

    Please be there by 1.45 so we can be underway by 2.00 latest.

    The walk will take in Cornwall Park and the One Tree Hill Domain and should take no more than 2 hours.

    Meeting venue is planned to be Frolic Cafe who would normally close at 4.00 but are staying open to 5.00 especially for us so please come back, have a coffee and catch-up afterwards.

  • One Tree Hill Photowalk - Welcome

    Hi everyone,
    Thanks for signing up for this years photowalk, if it’s anything like that past three years you can expect to have a good time searching for that elusive winning shot, catching up with old friends or meeting new ones.

    The walk is scheduled for Saturday 1st October but just in case the weather gods are angry with us, I will reserve Sunday 2nd as a rain day.

    I still have some final details to work out and will post further updates as they come to hand.
