Photo Walk Description

This year I have gone for a change of venue we will try Ondara.

There is a new car park next to Mas y Mas that would be ideal for parking which is about 200m from the meeting point. Meet outside the bull ring (which will hopefully be open for some photos) and then walk past the refurbished market up across the river and into the old town passing the town hall and square.

Ending at a local bar. (TBC)

Este año he ido para un cambio de lugar intentaremos Ondara.

Hay un nuevo parking al lado de Más y Más que serían ideales para aparcar que es sobre 200m del punto que se encuentra. Encuéntrese plaza del toros (que con esperanza estará abierto para algunas fotos) y luego andará por delante del mercado restaurado encima de a través del río y en la vieja ciudad que pasa el ayuntamiento y la plaza.

I now have written confirmation from the Mayor of Ondara that the Bull Ring will be open for us to take photos on 1st October.

A couple of things for Saturday:

Can you arrive at about 9.45 so we can meet and have a brief chat and a coffee before we set off.

The weather forecast is not looking great with showers forecast so a waterproof jacket / umbrella may be an idea.

Thank you to everyone who turned up today in the poor weather. I hope that you enjoyed it and that you took some good photos.

Thanks to Peter for arranging access to the clock tower.

I had hoped to get a photo of us all together at the end but that wasn’t possible as some of you had to leave early. Maybe next year.

Your best photo of today (it must have been taken between 10 and 12 in Ondara) can be uploaded to the World Wide Photo Walk website as soon as you like. Additional photos can be uploaded to our Flickr group. If you don’t have a Flickr account if you want to email me about 6 at 800px by 600px I will post them up there for you. I will use Flickr and any emailed photos to make a slideshow as a thank you to the Town Hall for giving us the access to the Bull Ring and Clock Tower.

A couple of you asked about the camera club I am a member of in Javea the website is http://macameraclub.com and our next meeting is on Thursday next at 7pm. If any of you would like to come as guests you are more than welcome.

Sorry guys you can’t upload your photos yet. The site needs to be updated, they have updated the Leaders pages but not the walkers pages yet.
