Where We Will Meet
Meet on the lawn across the street from the Rollercoaster.
Where The Walk Will End
We'll discuss as a group as to which PB eatery to dine at.
About This Walk
10th ANNUAL SCOTT KELBY’S WORLDWIDE PHOTOWALK & 20th ANNUAL PACIFIC BEACHFEST
Scheduled for the Magical Golden Hours from 6:45 sunrise until 9:45 a.m., but we will meet up at 6:30 am on the lawn across the street from the Rollercoaster.
Our walking trail begins at the ever-so-popular Mission Beach, Belmont Park then onto The Boardwalk for 1.8 miles towards Pacific Beach, Crystal Pier where the 20th Annual Pacific Beachfest is happening. Afterwards, there are several eatery options we can go grab a bite to eat and share our experiences.
We’ll be capturing our artistic creations during the golden magic hours from sunrise at 6:45 to 9:45 a.m. Planning about 40 minutes around Belmont Park, then shoot along The Boardwalk heading northbound towards Crystal Pier where we will spread out to also photograph the festival activities such as: the Volleyball Tournament, Pro/Am Surfing Competitions, the 5k Run, Food/Shopping Vendors, Arts & Crafts Booths, Live Music on 3 Stages, and the Kids Beachside Rides, Games, and Activities.
In the end we’ll head to our vehicles via a walk back or take the short approx. $1.75 bus ride back to Mission Beach.
WHAT TO BRING:
I strongly suggest wearing comfortable walking shoes, hat, sunscreen, money, and a backpack to carry your gear. All types of lenses, lens cleaning fluid and cloth, a tripod, uv/polarizer filters, reflector, extra memory cards, and fresh fully charged batteries.
