Photo Walk Description

Hi I am Gail. I am taking you to a place I just love and have had great success photographing in the past. I have to let you know this is my first walk but I am sure it will be great. We are going to walk around the Starved Rock State Park off route 178 south of Utica, IL. This park is just beautiful when the leaves are turning and I think you will really enjoy it. You can climb to the top of the cliffs, walk around the lower area where there isn’t much climbing or take a ferry ride to get great photos of the river. There is something for everyone here. So don’t worry if stairs and climbing don’t agree with you. There is plenty of beauty that won’t involve any of that. I will have two routes planned so you can choose. We will walk for two hours and relax right there at the starved rock lodge. When you are done, there is plenty of shopping in Utica including two very good wineries, a chocolate shop and much more.

Great walk for our little group. We still had fun and took some great shots.

No photos uploaded in time for selection of a winner. My one walker did have a very eventful weekend. However the experience was great, we had a wonderful time shooting and learned a lot of things for doing this again more successfully next year.
