Photo Walk Description
Hi, welcome to the the Noosa edition of the 2011 Scott Kelby Photowalk. My name is Geoff Powell and I am a professional photographer and TAFE teacher here on the Sunshine Coast.
Our Photowalk will start at Main Beach Noosa Heads, and go down the beach to Noosa Spit, and then around back to Hastings St via The Woods. We will be looking for photo opportunities in all genres along the way, and even intend trying out some portable lighting and hope to have a few models as well. We will meet up at the end of the walk at Laguna Jacks upstairs opposite the Taxi Rank, for a chat, a bit of a photo review and perhaps a drink or two.
The walk will start at 3.45pm sharp so be prepared to come early to find parking in the busy Hastings St precinct. The walk is open to everyone interested in photography, no matter the level.
In case of bad weather, we will try again the day after, Sunday the 2nd.

Thanks for coming yesterday. Most of the walks around the world are still going or have only just finished, so it seems we are waiting until we can upload images to the main site. Hello Geoff, thank you for a great photowalk, we all live in a beautifull area but don’t take enough opportunity to pack the camera and take it for a walk. So this was a fantastic opportunity to do so and meet fellow photographers.
I realy enjoyed the relaxed way we approached the walk and look forward to the next one.
