Photo Walk Description

We will meet at the front of the New Orleans Museum of Art in City Park and then go from there. We can walk to our final destination or stay in the general area of the park. Please bring plenty of water/snacks to the Photo Walk.

Our group can breakout into different areas of interest with the Saint Louis Cemetery conveniently located on Esplanade Ave. close to the entrance to City Park. St. Louis # 3 was built on a former graveyard for lepers. Storyville photographer E. J. Bellocq and the famous “Chef’s Corner” where the families of some of New Orleans’ famous chefs and restaurateurs were laid to rest.

The botanical Gardens open @ 10am so if any interest in shooting flowers and other wonderful sculptures in the garden we can breakout into a later group.

The park offers many different and fascinating sites that are forever fun to photograph. From nature to modern sculptures there is something for everyone.
