Photo Walk Description
Nashville is rich in history and the unique stories that live in the city. Join us on October 2nd as we explore ‘The District’. We are going to meet in Riverfront Park directly across from the Hard Rock Cafe. We will then head down 2nd avenue to Church, explore Printers Alley, then head down Union to 5th and swing around the War Memorial Auditorium. We will come back to 5th and work around the Ryman, the Batman building and then head over to Tootsies. From there we will go towards our final destination of the Big River Grille. The entire path is not quite a mile and a half. So wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
My name is Alanna Johnson and I have been shooting for years, mostly because of my six children, but about 3 years ago I began shooting seriously. I am a student at Nashville State Community College and I am also the President of the Society of Photography Students there. I hope to see quite a few NSCC students on our walk. So come on out and enjoy Nashville and make some new friends!
I forgot I’ve got a shoot that day! I got to back out.

This is the first time I have seen this Photo Walk advertised . . . I do not understand the purpose . . are photogs supposed to take photos . . or are there printed/framed photos in different stores/locations and you are supposed to look and enjoy?? Please explain further!!
Karen, we simply get together at a specific time and travel a planned path, taking photos along the way. This is purely social and for fun. The photos are yours to keep and share if you choose to. There are prizes for walk winners and our winner was actually recognized internationally as well.
