  It’s FREE and open to all experience level photographers and enthusiasts. We welcome all to come. It is a very social event where people that just enjoy photography can come and shoot and talk “shop” if you like. It is a great time to get to know like minded people and see what everyone is shooting with these days. It is a casual walk through downtown Merced highlighted with a few secret locations that I enjoy photographing at personally. 

We will all meet at Bob Hart Square at the corner of Main and Canal (by the clock) at 3:30 (on Saturday 10/1) with a group photo at 3:45 or so and then we will begin the walk. It will take a couple of hours maybe so bring comfortable shoes and I suggest just a single lens so your gear won’t weigh you down. The weather should be perfect.

Afterwards we will meet someplace casual to eat/drink and share images amongst each other if you like. It’s a great time to get to know new people, see good friends and shoot some new things that maybe you didn’t think existed here in Merced.

   This year I will be in your area of the valley and would like to

   Had a great time at the WWPW-Merced! Thanks Jeff, for leading it. It was a pleasure meeting you and connecting through some old friends’ names from when I lived in Merced many years ago.

   It was a great photowalk with all wonderful people and talented & creative photogs. I’m already looking forward to next years’ walk!

     Yeah It was great to see everyone again and do some group shooting. The images I’m seeing are really good! I’m excited to see what ones get uploaded for the contest….
