  Howdy,

  It’s not looking good folks – I will still be at / near location at about 14:30 and will still head off in the direction of a. the planned walk or b. a cafe or pub with whoever of you guys makes it! I have had a LOT of cancellations over night, I hope we still have a fun afternoon.

• This Weekend!

  Howdy Folks! So, our walk is this weekend – weather is looking to be a bit ordinary, top of 16 and a few possible showers!! The show must go on… Even if we have a thousand photos of each other looking all drowned!

  I am on 0400 573 473 or simon@gtvone.com or @gtvone on Twitter if you are having trouble finding the group! I will be the one with a grey teeshirt and jeans, and most likely a greenish camera bag (thinkTankPhoto Retro 30 for you gear junkies)

  We shall meet pretty close to the edge of the bridge opposite Flinders Street Station… We will head down the river towards the MCG and then cross, back up the river towards Crown, then across and back to the square where we’ll be able to rest our weary bones, chat, compare photos and generally enjoy the afternoon.

  There are a couple who have dropped out, so if you have a friend that wants to come, that should be OK – maybe text me and let me know?

  Hi everyone, just a brief update to say hello and welcome you all along to our walk in Melbourne! Let’s hope for good weather, good coffee and fun times! If anyone has any questions, either walk related or photography related – don’t hesitate to drop me an email // simon@gtvone.com // and I’ll do my best to answer them!

   It’s AFL grand final day – might be a tricky time at the proposed meeting place and after walk meet given its proximity to the ‘G.

   Hi, I’d love to join if it is changed to the Sunday. Please let me know if you do end up changing it. The city will be a bit crazy on Grand Final Day and all of the Geelong supporters will be celebrating hard that evening!

    I don’t follow footy but GF day is always a good excuse to meet up with friends, have some beer, some grilled sausages and beef and swear amongst friends (once a year it doesn’t hurt!).

    So I’ve signed up for it but would REALLY be nice if it got changed to Sunday… fingers crossed.

    I think Grand Final day only adds to this walk. The atmosphere on the street will be awesome and there will be some interesting and vibrant characters out and about just begging to be photographed!

    I guess I’ll see everyone on Grand Final day!
    I would probably be roaming the city (Bourke/Swanston st.) looking for buskers etc. before the walk though as I would already be paying the 10.00 for a whole day’s parking.
