Photo Walk Description
We are working out an arrangement with Brevard Zoo on the admission. Each member will receive the standard $2.00 off admission.

Special guest: Barry Kirsch, Michael Tapes, and Kevin McSparron will join Vanelli for an impromptu Photography questions and answers session 30 minutes before the official photo walk. Discuss will include photo techniques based on questions from the walkers. The questions can be about anything photographic including gear, composition, workflow, techniques or what’s happening in the industry.
Wish I lived a little closer but I did recommend it to a friend!

If I were going to be in town, I’d join your walk… the zoo should be a great walk location, looking forward to seeing the images from the day.
Sounds like a fun place. Strange that I have never been to the Brevard Zoo. Any way, I hope that you will accept this prodigal son back into your fold. Any lens recommendations?

I love wildlife photography and zoo shots can be a challenge angle vs light etc. I do hope we can get a deal it would be awesome to get some first hand advice.
Vanelli – thank you for taking this on again. my son and i are really looking forward to it, and we LOVE the zoo! if you take the kayak trip through Australia you can get closeup pictures of the giraffes and you can see lemur island, only viewable from the kayak ride. also the new Treetop Challenge is now open if there are any adventurous photographers who want to get treetop photos from 40 feet in the air over the animals! sounds like a super fun day! can’t wait!

FYI. The Zoo is undergoing a phone and data upgrade next week, and this installation requires working in the giraffe exhibit area. So, the giraffe and impala will not be out on exhibit Monday through Friday, Sept. 26-Oct. 1. We apologize for the inconvenience…
