Greetings walkers! We’re looking at perfect low 70s weather for Saturday, perhaps bring a light jacket! We’re starting at the Park again, so there is a coffee shop. Once again, if you want to get a coffee, please try and show up early enough so the group is not waiting on you just after 9:00am. There will be a lot going on in town with the Medford Jazz Festival, Growers Market (which I’d like to walk through) and Rogue Art Gallery Exhibit.
Just after 9:00am we’ll walk over to the Medford PD. I’ve arranged for Sergeant Curtis to have some cars available to shoot. I ask each of you to try and get the best photos of any officers with their cars (or bikes) I offered a collection of images for them in gratitude, I would appreciate you all sharing with me a few days after the shoot. It’ll be touch and go how many can be there with all the activity in town. *Remember, you can’t commercially license the images with the Police in them.
Wear comfy shoes! There are plenty of resting spots along the walk with benches.
I’m looking forward to seeing you all their on Saturday. Alba Park is on the Corner of West Main and Holly.

The fine folks at the Medford Police Department have agreed to “bump” into us with a couple cars (depending on resources) along our route Saturday a.m. YAY!

Please note: Lunch is not provided, the location is a place where we can all meet and discuss the walk but not a necessary stop.

I’ll be planning a route around downtown Medford similar to last year and with some of your input I will try and arrange for some surprises along the way. We’ll focus on downtown: rails, alleys, old buildings, public buildings, library, RCC Campus and all the shops, restaurants and other little niches that beg to shine in your photos! I’ll try and have a route map up in a few days (I need to test it for time).
