a most popular landmark in Manila, Philippines called LUNETA. Luneta park also known as Rizal Park.After Celebrating the Rizal’s 150th birthday the park gets a face lift this time. Lapu Lapu Monument is inside the Rizal Park. Rizal Park was chosen as a venue for this year’s “Scott Kelby’s 4nd Annual Worldwide Photo walk 2011”. Rizal Park, also known as Luneta Park, is a historical urban park located in the heart of the city of Manila, Philippines.

On 10-1-11 Rizal Park was chosen as a venue for this year’s “Scott Kelby’s 4nd Annual Worldwide Photo walk 2011”. Rizal Park, also known as Luneta Park, is a historical urban park located in the heart of the city of Manila, Philippines. After Celebrating the Rizal’s 150th birthday the park gets a face lift this time. Plans are the addition of a free Wi-Fi zone, repair of the park’s underground drainage system, and possible underground parking spaces and passages to ease the volume of vehicles.
Another treasure set to be revived is a drinking fountain donated by the town of Heidelberg in Germany, where Rizal wrote the last chapter of his masterpiece novel Noli Me Tangere. The fountain will serve as the centerpiece of a planned Noli Me Tangere garden.
