  We are part of the pioneering batches in Dumaguete City: The world’s largest social photography event in the history of photography today at the 4th Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photo Walk.

  October 17, the world will see the Honorable Mentions and finally, The 2011 Best Show and Photography Awards (Grand Prix).

  FRIENDS:

  Some Details and Reminders for a Smooth Photo Walk on October 1 & 2.

  The big day is nearly upon us, and you are one of over 1,100 groups who will be taking part in the world’s largest social photography event!

  I just wanted to go over a few last-minute details and reminders to help ensure everything goes smoothly this weekend.

  SAFETY is the top priority for this event. I am reminding everyone before the walk starts to be careful while you’re all taking pictures. Each location is different and comes with its own dangers, so be aware of those things and make sure all of you guys are aware of these too. Watch for traffic, don’t get too close to the edge, be aware of your surroundings, and so on. Have fun, but KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR EVERYONE, during the walk as well. DON’T STRAY. Map / guides will be handed out.

  Please claim your T-shirts after 6pm, tonight, at Cacards.

  We will be meeting starting at 1pm at Silliman University Portal, 2pm we start the Worldwide Photowalk promptly (for OCTOBER 2, 2011 participants).

  PLEASE BRING: Water, Sunblock, and any other provisions they may need during the walk.

  Geri Reyes, together with Cacards and Jomz, please confirm our last stop restaurant reservation to make sure they’ll be ready for our group when we arrive for snack time.

  It gets exciting now!

  I encourage everyone to submit their best photo to the contest so they can have a chance at winning Scott Kelby’s newest book, Light It. Shoot It.
