Photo Walk Description

I have always thought the downtown Loudon area is a very picturesque area. There is the beautiful courthouse, a nice fountain, river, a train caboose, old theater, firehall, and antique stores. After doing the photowalk on Market Square the past two years, I thought it would be nice to do something different. I hope you will join me as I try to show off this little town.

I am a serious photography hobbyist. I got my photography certificate from UT in June of 2010. I am an active member of the Knoxville Area Photographers Meetup Group. I have met many wonderful friends through photography.

Hope you can join us in Loudon on October 1. Hopefully, we can do this around the home UT football game which I hope will be later in the day.

    I just tried to go our my walk site but it gave me only an error message. I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come.

    I have set up a Flickr group called “Loudon Photo Walk” where you can load all your photos to share. You will be asked to load a certain number of photos on the official photowalk website. After the deadline to submit photos has passed, I will ask someone to help me select the winning photo from our group. Can’t wait to see all the photos!

    From I-75 South, take the Sugar Limb Exit #76, turn left. Turn right onto Hwy 11. Cross the bridge and you will see the courthouse

    From I-75 North, take Loudon Exit #72, turn right. Turn left onto Hwy 11. That will bring you right into Loudon and the courthouse.

    I think I registered for this walk -but due to cold and meds may have signed up for a naked plunge in the Arctic Ocean.. But hopefully did sign up for your walk.. sounds like fun. See you then..
