Photo Walk Description

Note: The Official Worldwide Photo Walk Date is July 24th, 2010

This photo walk will go through the newly built seawall boulevard of Legazpi City, the walk will course through amazing scenic view of Mayon Volcano, Kapuntukan Hill, and newly developed areas of what used to be the fishing village of Legazpi. The photowalker has the option to complete the 6 km route which takes them from embarcadero to the end of puro seawall and back, or simply walk part of the seawall and to the seaside villages and capture local life.

About the leader..
I’m Yves Eli Yu, member of the Mayon Photography Club Inc. currently the first photowalk lead by our president Tom Falcon is already filled up, so this will be the second one to accommodate 50 more photographers. I will be helping photo walkers with possible scenic areas to shoot, and maybe some tips, but will not be helping you carry your gear if it’s too heavy. hehe

Things you might want to bring.. (but might be too heavy to carry)

1.) Tripod – if in case you want to do long exposures for seascapes shots
2.) Ultrawide lenses for amazing panoramic shots
3.) Long Telephotos for capturing local life
4.) Water – if in case you decide to complete the route and walk 5kms
5.) Extra shirt – so you can change your sweaty clothes before the fellowship at the restaurant
6.) Cash – if you want to order food KKB style at the restaurant (location to be announced before the start of walk). Take note registration is free
7.) SUNBLOCK!

Hi, I am currently signed up for the Ilocos Photowalk but would like to transfer to Legazpi if you still have slots left. Can you still accommodate 2 slots?
