Photo Walk Description
Hi Lansing Scott Kelby photographers! This year we will be exploring the distinguished downtown Lansing area. For the last two years I have been actively participating in a project called City Saunter. With this project my goal is to walk all the streets of Lansing photographing unique, quaint and inspiring sights. I also keep a journal blog to share my thoughts and stories about my walks. The area that I have decided to start our walk is one of my favorites. We will begin at the Shigematsu Memorial Garden located just east of Capitol and on LCC campus. From there we will journey along some of Lansing’s newest additions along the Lansing River Trail and up the Michigan Ave. corridor. The mapped route is roughly 1.3 miles and should take about 2 hours.
