Photo Walk Description

Welcome photographers of the Kelby Kemah-World-PhotoWalk! We will be shooting fabulous Kemah again this year. Let’s meet at the area near the Dancing fountain (see #3 on the map) at 6:30.

Dawn is at 6:53 and you will want to be in position for a beautiful sunrise over Kemah. Suggestions will be available at the meetup location. After shooting the boardwalk and surrounding area for a few hours, we will meet up at 10:30 at Cadillac Bar for debriefing and networking.

  • Kelby Photowalk - Charge your batteries!

    Reminder Kemah Photo Walk members, charge your batteries and bring extra media cards. Sunrise at Kemah will be fantastic on Sunday. The weather will be nice and cool, 60 for a low and 84 for a high. Wow! Autumn is in the air!

    Also, after the Photo Walk is complete, you will have a couple weeks to upload your best photo for the Kelby Photo Walk contest. This photo must be uploaded to the Kelby Photo Walk website here. However, feel free to share your other photos with the group on Flickr at this URL – http://www.flickr.com/groups/kemah-tx-usa.

    I can’t wait to see the photos you capture on Sunday.

    After re-reading the World Photo Walk submission dates, you must submit your photo for contest entry on the http://www.worldwidephotowalk.com web site by tomorrow…. FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7, to be considered for the contest. To date, only three photos have been submitted to that site. Select your favorite photo taken on Sunday, from our Kemah photo walk and get your entries in to http://www.tinyurl.com/kemahphotowalk.

    Yeah! There is an extension for submitting your best photo to the Kelby World Wide Photowalk web site. So, keep on editing. Submit your photo by Monday, October 10.
