Photo Walk Description
The two hour walk will start at the Century Old Church of Kalibo and to past to another centenial edifice, the Aklan Museum called “Baeay it hari” or House of the King, and then to pass by the seat of the Municipal Government of Kalibo, the Kalibo Pilot Elementary School (soon to be declared as a national heritage having been established more than a century and a decade ago, then to pass through the Provincial Hospital of Kalibo, the Aklan Freedon Shrine where the XIX (19) Martyrs of Aklan are entombed, to be followed by a weaving shop where the world renowned Piña Clothe are weaved, then followed by the house of the late Ras Meñez the first Governor of Aklan Province and then followed by the Kalibo Police station and finally to the Bread and Butter, the Restaurant where the group could rest and critic the pictures taken…in this activity, I am honored to lead a group of photographer who shall document and chonicle our cultural heritage…
