Photo Walk Description
Joliet is an old river town with many interesting places to photograph. In the downtown area, we will pass by the Rialto Theatre and Union Station, as well as a number of interesting public buildings and churches. We will cross the river to the bluffs overlooking downtown, the site of the Victorian Museum and several churches. There are numerous bridges to photograph, and hopefully there will be barge traffic on the river as well. After sharing your photos with the group at lunch, you may want to consider going on your own to other nearby spots, such as the casino, the Route 66 museum or the Old State Prison Park.
