  Looks like the weather will be cool but clear. Make sure you have your camera gear and your creativity along for the walk tomorrow. Looking forward to meeting new people and sharing experiences!

• Indianapolis Mass Avenue Cultural District Photo Walk

  Photo Venture Camera Club is leading this walk in Indianapolis. Our walk will begin in front of Starbucks at 430 Massachusetts Avenue, this is in the downtown area and has plenty of parking for everyone. We will meet by the “Head Sculpture” that is in front of Starbucks for instructions before we begin the walk. There are many buildings of architectural interest in this area and it is considered one of the arts cultural districts in Indianapolis. You will also find a Firehouse Museum that many will find interesting to shoot. The walk will extend north to St Clair Avenue where will will turn around and head back ending at Bazbeaux Pizza where will meet for lunch and discuss our Photo Walk adventure.How far you walk will be totally up to the individual. I will have maps ready for participants at our meeting point at 9:15 AM. Bring your camera and be ready to have a great time. See you there!

   I want to thank everyone who participated in the walk today. I look forward to seeing some awesome images from those who joined us. I also wanted to let you know that we now have a flicker account http://www.flickr.com/groups/1751853@N24/, that you may log into and submit your images, but this is NOT the official place to submit the image you wish to put in the competition. You must submit your competition image on the Scott Kelby site where you registered for the walk and it must be submitted by October 7, 2011 at midnight. I will then select the best image and the winner for our walk with be announced by Oct. 10. Please to to the prize page to see more detail for the advanced winners. I hope that those of you who live local will join the Photo Venture Camera Club for a meeting and see what the photo club is all about. You may visit http://www.photoventure.org and sign up for our newsletter to see what is going on that particular week. Thanks again for your participation!

     Eileen, I am hoping you can see my photos on the Flickr account. When I open the web page my photos are not there. They do not come up until I click on members or join this group and if I sign in then they show up. Do I need to do something different? Thank you very much, it was alot of fun doing the photowalk.

       You image is on the Scott Kelby site so you are entered but he extended the deadline to the 10th of October due to upload problems.

   You may enter photos until the 10th due to uploading problems! Only 13 people have uploaded images so far!
