Photo Walk Description
1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION. The group will meet at the Iloilo Provincial Capitol Grounds at 3:00-3:30 pm. A brief orientation and instructions will be given to the participants before heading to the downtown area at around 4:00 pm.
2. GROUP MANAGEMENT. A photo walk comprised of 50 photographers is quite huge and may even be intimidating to some people. We’ll therefore break into 3 groups to make the groups more manageable and less intimidating.
2.1 Smaller groups. The group will be divided into three smaller groups with 16, 17, and 17 members each respectively. A leader will be assigned to the groups on the day of the photo walk itself. (If you’re interested to lead one of the small groups, please contact me.) I will be leading one of the small groups.
2.2 Grouping. Grouping will be based on a first-come, first-served basis, i.e., the first 16 to sign-up will comprise Group 1, the next 17 will comprise Group 2, and so on. I will post updates regarding the grouping here every once in a while.
3. ROUTE. From the Iloilo Provincial Capitol Grounds, the group will walk the length of Iznart Street up to Plazolate Gay. From there, the small groups can decide to go to the Downtown Area (J.M. Basa Street), SM Delgado-Marymart Area, or Muelle Loney, and click their shutters to their hearts’ delight. Then, by around 5:00 pm, the groups will again converge at the Iloilo Central Market. The optional “later” last stop will be at the Ortiz Wharf where it’s possible to catch glimpses of the setting sun.
4. OTHERS.
4.1 Please bring a name tag. Write your name in BIG & BOLD letters so that other walkers will know you.
4.2 Shall we have shirts made for this group?

Hi! This is amazing! Until 50 lang pwede karegister? If more than 50, indi na pwede kajoin? I’m planning to invite our members in our school’s photography club. We have around 25 members. Pero hindi naman siguro lahat sasali dito.
As for the shirts, go ako as long as indi man hassle sa paubra. =D
Yep, until 50 lang ang pwede kapa-register sa official nga list. But it actually does not disallow your club members from joining. Indi lang sila ya ka-join sa official worldwide contest eh, kay ang mga officially registered lang ang pwede ka-join.
If that’s just okay with the club members, please tell them to register na lang daan. They will appear sa waitlist.
