Photo Walk Description

Note: The Official Worldwide Photo Walk Date is July 24th, 2010

The City of Hopkinsville was settled in 1796 by a North Carolina couple, Bartholomew and Martha Ann Wood. Located a short drive from Land Between the Lakes; Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park; Nashville, TN; Fort Campbell, KY; Paducah, KY; and Evansville, IN, Hopkinsville has tremendous access to the arts, cultural and sporting events, shopping, and recreational opportunities while maintaining a strong sense of local community.

The route will proceed 2 blocks west on 6th St to Main St, then south on
Main a half block to Court St. Then west on Court to Bethel St to Riverside
Park and south on Bethel to 11th St. East on 11th one block to S Main then
north on S Main 4 blocks to 7th. Go 1 block east on 7th to S Virginia then
2 blocks south on S Virginia to 9th. Proceed east on 9th 3 and a half
blocks to the old L&N depot. Go south through the depot parking lot and the
east on 10th crossing the RR tracks and 1 block to S Campbell St. Proceed
north on S Campbell 3 blocks to 7th and then west on 7th 3 blocks to Liberty
St to north 1 block to the parking lot.
