  We have one day left before our Photo Walk in downtown Greenville, SC. Below are a couple notes (logistics and other important information). Please feel free to contact me via link on this site, as I will be monitoring email closely the morning of the walk.

  Walk Total Up to 45

  I am pleased to announce we are now at 45 attendees for this years walk. That number may increase to our max of 50 but this means a lot of great photography will be occurring.

  Location and Directions

  I have updated the Photo Walk page with the location of our meeting. We will start around the fountain on the S. Main Street Side of the Liberty Bridge.

  Parking

  There are several public parking options up the road from the Liberty Bridge but also on the other side of the Reedy River but you will need to walk. You can locate the Parking Areas at http://www.greenvillesc.gov/Transportation/parking.aspx

  Extras to Bring

  You may want to bring a bottle of water, sun screen and layered clothing as the temperature will start cool and warm but this is forecast to be one of the coolest days yet this fall.

  Oh! Bring your Camera

  And don’t forget to bring something to take photographs! :)

     This walk is free to attend and enjoy. There will be a photo competition but you are not required to join. Look forward to seeing you at the event.

   This is my first one of these. Is there a particular theme or look that we are looking for here, or is just shooting whatever peaks your interest? Either way, I’m excited about it!

     We will be walking through the Open Air Market, West End and the Reedy River Area. No particular theme and we will will have a Flickr sharing group and a good contest as well. Look forward to seeing you soon!

   It looks like my earlier comment did not get posted. Can you tell me which fountain? I can think of 3 major ones in the downtown area.

    Thank you for an awesome walk this morning. Had a lot of fun meeting new people and learning new things. Always enjoy being downtown.
