Photo Walk Description
Hi my name is Aimee Eisaman and I’ve been into photography for around 4 years. I do portraits as Digital Darkroom Photography, but just recently shut down my website. If you want to find me on facebook you can find me at www.facebook.com/digitaldarkroomphoto. I do alot of portraits, but love taking pictures of just about anything. For the past few years I’ve started and run an online photography club with members from all over the country. It’s amazing what you can learn and be exposed to when getting together with other photographers.
I joined the World Wide Photo Walk last year for the first time and since I was unsure if someone would start one in the area this year I figured I’d do it. We will meet at the waterfall in Twin Lakes Park at 9:30am. We will hang out/chat for about 15 minutes just in case anyone is running late and then we will start our journey around the upper lake. We will be walking less than a mile, but be sure to wear comfy shoes as we will be on our feet for awhile. I’m sure this time of year we may see colorful leaves and there should still be some interesting critters around. Take your time and get up close to things for a detailed view. Look for patterns in the nature around you that may be interesting. You can even shoot your fellow photogs on the walk, but please be considerate if they ask you to stop. Please leave some time after the end of the walk because we will discuss a nearby restaurant to meet at for lunch and some good old fashioned fun getting to know one another.
I’m going to do my best to find a model to walk the route with us who would be willing to pose for those of you who want to do some portraits, but at this time I have not gotten a commitment.
Photographers of all levels are welcome so if you know a friend or relative who was just bitten by the photo bug be sure to invite them to sign up. See you there! :~)

Hi Aimee – I met you at the walk last year. Oct 1 should be a better time at Twin Lakes than a hot, HOT, July day. See you there.
Will be good to see you again Jane and I agree a much better time of year for this sort of thing in our area! See you in Oct! :~)
Are we on our own this time? We had such a nice group last time…I thought we’d get a better turn out!!
Hi Aimee,
I was at the walk last year also — looking forward to seeing you Saturday

I just sent a note to all three of you who signed up so far. The weather is looking really wicked for Sat. morning. I’ll shoot in just about any weather, but moisture mixed with wind makes me nervous. I’ve sent two ideas for indoor activities so check your mail and let me know asap! :~)
