Photo Walk Description

WELCOME ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS IN SUDBURY TO THE ANNUAL WORLD WIDE PHOTOWALK.
This walk consists of photographers around the world getting together to enjoy their hobby/passion over two days.
I am an amateur photographer who has participated in a past walk and enjoyed not only the camraderie of getting together with other photographers, but giving me the opportunity to photograph a part of Sudbury that I’ve never really stopped and looked at.
JOIN US AMATEURS AND PROFESSIONALS ALIKE REGARDLESS IF YOU USE A POINT AND SHOOT OR AN SLR.
LOCATION: Ocotober 1st – Starting from Market Square the walk will take in the downtown core. There will be plenty of interesting shots and angles of urban landscape, people, architecture and everyday Saturday morning activities of Sudbury. We will finish the walk at Peddlers Pub which will give us the opportunity to have lunch, chat and get to know each other and to share photos. Lunch at Peddler’s is optional.
RAINDATE: In the event of rain the photowalk will be held October 2nd 10-1
TO REGISTER: Click on the green “JOIN THIS PHOTOWALK” button above the map. For saftey reasons anyone under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
CLOTHING/AGE: Make sure to wear comfortable shows and appropriate clothing for the weather.
CHALLENGE: Best photo of the day will win Scott Kelby’s book “Light it, Shoot it, and Retouch it” and be in the running for the Grand Prize

    Hi All,
    The weather is looking pretty good (sunny with cloudy periods for Saturday) so keep your fingers crossed. Sunday is set as the raindate, so if there’s a change I will send you all an email and post it here.

    Thanks and charge up those batteries and clear up those memory cards.

    Alright everyone, I think the rain will hold off for our walk, but keep in mind it’s cold out there today. Dress warm and see you soon.
