  Here is a link where you can post up to 5 of your photos a day. It is not the official contest page, just for fun http://www.flickr.com/groups/wwpw4/ It is purely optional.

  Remember, October 7 is the deadline for registered walkers to submit photo (12pm EDT) for the international contest. Directions from the head honchos is as follows.
  Now that the event has taken place, photo walkers may begin uploading their photos as of October 3 at 9:00am EDT. To do so, walkers will simply log in at WorldwidePhotoWalk.com, go to their walk page, and follow the instructions listed there to submit their single best image from the walk to the contest. Walkers will have until October 7 at 12:00 noon EDT to upload their best image to the contest.
  Details:
  1. One image per walker per location
  2. 1000px on the long side @ 72 dpi
  3. Max file size is 1MB In the meantime edit your images and be ready to post your best image to the contest page.

  Please email the five photos you want judged by Photo Den to The deadline for this is midnight October 15.

• Last Minute Update

  Looks like the weather may cooperate better than expected. The forecast for tomorrow says partly sunny with a high of 72. However, it would be wise to bring a zip lock bag to protect your camera in case it does rain. It will be very cool overnight so dressing in layers is a good idea.

  I am very much looking forward to meet you all and enjoy a great day together. Remember this is open to beginners, hobbyist, and pros. If you are too late to sign up for the international competition, you can still attend the walk and are still eligible for the prizes from Photo Den.

  I want to encourage everyone who is registered to submit their best photo to the international contest so they can have a chance at winning Scott Kelby’s newest book, Light It. Shoot It. Retouch It., a full Adobe CS5 Suite, Epson R3000 printer, Nik Software Suite, OnOne Software Suite, Westcott Lighting Kit, B&H Gift Card, iPad (32GB), NAPP Membership, Kelby Training Subscription, Full Library of Kelby Books, and Photoshop World Ticket!

  We have just heard that Photo Den will be offering a $25 gift certificate along with an enlarged print of the winning photo from the Grants Pass photowalk that will hang in their business when decided. Second place will receive a photo package of their 2nd place finish image.

• Meeting Location

  Just to be perfectly clear, we are meeting in the parking lot on 6th St between J and K. Somehow some believe it to be on the corner of H St. We will meet and then walk to H Street where the sidewalk art is.

  I am looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday, October 2.

   I missed the filing date for the competition, but am wondring now about the Peoples Choice competition. How is that done? I uploaded pics to Flickr for the Medford walk and the worldwide flick page. does this mean I am entered for the competition?
