Photo Walk Description
This year’s Photo Walk will be Scott Kelby’s 4th annual walk, and our 3rd year to act as Photo Walk Leaders. For the last two years we have led walks on the Waterway in The Woodlands. And although these walks were very well attended, and a lot of fun, we decided to change locations this year and lead a walk in Historic Downtown Strand District in Galveston.
Much of the architecture in this area is unique and there are plenty of distinctive photo opportunities. We will start the walk at 9:00 am, taking advantage of the morning light, but still giving time for those who will be driving down to the island from Houston. The walk has also been scheduled in the Fall instead of the summer, therefore heat should be much less of a problem.
We will provide a map of our walk route when we meet on the day of the walk. And once we confirm our post walk meeting place, we will post the location on this page.
I am a member/novice photowalker of the Houston Photowalk, I would like to join your group for the Worldwide Photowalk excursion. Please let me know if there is room for me. Will this be the 1st of October? Thanks Shirley J.

This will be my first Photowalk. I heard great things about your Woodlands walk last year and saw some terrific images that came from it. I am really looking forward to joining you in Galveston this fall.

I think you will enjoy the walk. I too hope it will have cooled off, but we have spent alot of time down on the Island this Summer. And believe it or not, it never seems as hot on the Island as it does on the mainalnd.
I am not sure if i registered right. I was having trouble with the user name.. and then when i found one that worked it said account with this user already works.. now i dont know what to do… any helpful hints?
not sure i registered right.. had problems with the userid name.. it said name already used and then when i put in another one it said user already using this existing account.. so i dont know what my user name is and have not got any confirmation on the walk.. how do i know if i am signed up or not.. confused which one is my userid too.. thanks.. looking very forward to this
p.s. i logged in as the first name i put for user id and it logged me in.. that was also the userid name that said was already in use.. so i am at a loss but i in.. please let me know if there is any confirmation on the walk when you sign up and also how to how many are signed up
